Bedsheet with Outlines, Acrylic color and Cushions

Beside Your Warmth brings forth the traced outline of the bodies of my mother and maternal grandmother resting bodies onto a bedsheet. This work extends and tries to trace the tiredness of two resting bodies while reflecting the intimacy of personal and familial relations; this attempt foregrounds the comfort and unspoken tension between two generational bodies. The subtle conflict, encroachment of unmarked boundaries, and a sense of trust and security had been highlighted with each single color outline.
